DATPOL FOR INDUSTRY

Keep the plant running. Put technology to work.

For an investor or factory owner in Poland, power, automation, industrial networks and security are parts of one operational decision. We design, install and integrate them with the production process, local project requirements and subsequent maintenance in mind.

Let’s talk

THE TECHNICAL DIRECTOR’S PERSPECTIVE

Not another system.
A problem solved.

We start with what could stop the plant, disrupt work or increase costs. Then we agree the scope, priorities and acceptance criteria.

01 / OPERATIONAL CONTINUITY

What stops working when the power fails?

We identify critical loads and dependencies between power, controllers and networks. Standby power, UPS systems and changeover arrangements are selected around the process requirements.

To agree: critical loads, autonomy, restart sequence and functional tests.

02 / UPGRADES

How can an installation be upgraded without disrupting production?

We divide the work into stages, agree shutdown windows and coordinate with other contractors. Safe isolation, testing and return-to-service arrangements are defined before changes begin.

To agree: programme, responsibilities, acceptance tests and as-built documentation.

03 / ENERGY

What causes overloads and avoidable costs?

We combine electrical testing, thermal imaging, power quality analysis and energy monitoring. We assess the load profile and the suitability of power factor correction, solar PV and battery storage.

To agree: metering points, analysis period, alarms and action priorities.

04 / IT AND OT

Could a network failure also affect automation?

We design network segmentation, system communications and controlled maintenance access. Infrastructure monitoring, VPNs and IDS/IPS are selected to suit the architecture and risk.

To agree: IT/OT zones, permissions, configuration backups and incident reporting.

THE VALUE OF INTEGRATION

Electrical systems + automation + IT + OT + security + energy.

We assess individual devices and the connections between them. A power failure may stop a controller; a network outage may remove process visibility; inappropriate permissions may expose the control system.

Power supply and distributionAutomation and communicationsMonitoring and maintenance response

Process safety functions remain in appropriately designed local systems. Neither a remote dashboard nor an internet connection replaces machinery safeguards.

TECHNICAL SCOPE

From the distribution board to the maintenance team.

Electrical installations

New installations and upgrades need to account for electrical loads, environmental conditions and operational continuity. We coordinate electrical works with automation, communications and the site maintenance plan.

Automation and process integration

We bring together instrumentation, control and monitoring to give operators and maintenance teams a clear view of plant performance. Upgrades start with an understanding of the process, its documentation and safeguards — not simply replacing the controller.

IT/OT and industrial networks

Office networks, production systems and physical infrastructure have different requirements. We connect them in a controlled way: access to information must not mean unrestricted access to the process.

CCTV and video analytics

CCTV design starts with the purpose: observing a process, securing an entrance, detecting an intrusion or reviewing an incident. We specify views, recording and access alongside the network infrastructure.

HOW WE WORK

Decisions before deployment.
Oversight after commissioning.

  1. Assessment

Installation condition, critical processes, documentation and the technical team’s needs.

  2. Plan and responsibilities

Scope, stages, risks, shutdowns and acceptance criteria.

  3. Delivery and testing

Coordination, commissioning, functional tests and documentation handover.

  4. Maintenance

Agreed support, diagnostics and subsequent infrastructure development.

ILLUSTRATIVE APPLICATIONS

From a site problem to a defined scope.

These are illustrative scenarios, not accounts of completed DATPOL projects. They show a possible approach; any solution requires an assessment of the individual site.

ILLUSTRATIVE SCENARIO

Production hall: upgrading the power supply

Adding machinery requires a check of available capacity and a work programme built around production.

Possible scope: load measurements, power distribution, planned shutdowns, staged commissioning and change documentation.

To agree: critical loads, acceptable interruptions and acceptance tests.

ILLUSTRATIVE SCENARIO

Cold store: temperature monitoring and alarms

A temperature reading alone does not explain whether a deviation is caused by conditions in the chamber, a power cut or loss of communications.

Possible scope: temperature measurement, historical trends, communications monitoring, alarm thresholds and an agreed notification path.

To agree: sensor locations, acceptable ranges and responsibility for responding.
